Hantz Golf Club, previously named Tecumseh Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Tecumseh, Michigan.
The course first opened for play in 1948. The course was designed by Leo Bishop.
The course has pine and maple trees lining the fairways. The well-maintained greens that are fast. The front nine was built on flat terrain, and the back nine was built on hilly terrain. There is one pond that comes into play on two holes.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,632 yards, course rating 71.4, slope rating 125.
White tees: par-72, 6,223 yards.
Red tees: par-72, 5,414 yards.
The Hantz Group financial planning firm of Southfield bought the Tecumseh Country Club in late 2010 and reopened it as the Hantz Golf Club in the spring, 2011. City of Tecumseh property records list the sale price of the country club as $650,000.
